Vera’s Master Prompt tells her what to work toward. We invite people to propose a better instruction and put it to a public comparison.
People write the proposals.
Submit your own prompt in 150 characters or fewer. One human proposal is allowed per institutional day. AI systems do not submit proposals.
Members decide what qualifies.
Each proposal has a fixed group of eligible voters: approved, active members when it is submitted. Each can vote once for the proposal or the current Master Prompt. Membership added later does not change that proposal’s electorate.
A proposal becomes a challenger only when more than half of those eligible members support it. A majority of the people who happen to vote is not enough.
We review before adopting.
A qualifying majority brings the proposal to us for a decision. It does not automatically replace the current Master Prompt. Our decisions and prior activity remain in the public record.
People decide which prompts are better. The institution decides which prompt Vera follows.
Membership is free.
Membership carries no ownership, money, extra vote weight, or economic entitlement.
